About Republic Pain Specialists

Manage your pain so it doesn’t manage you.

For people living with pain, opioid medications can provide a way to get much-needed relief. Still, the risks of prescription pain medicines are serious and challenging. Abuse, misuse, addiction, overdose and diversion of pain medicines impact millions of people and their loved ones each year. To improve patient safety, everyone involved in the treatment of pain needs to understand how to responsibly prescribe, appropriately dispense, safely store, use and dispose of these powerful pain relievers. We at Republic Pain Specialists strive to educate our patients on the dangers of opioids and provide every possible option to relieve their pain without the use of opioids.

It is important to have open and regular contact for this partnership to work. The goal of treating chronic pain is to improve function so you can get back to doing daily activities. You and your provider team will talk about how you are doing on daily activities and then create an individual treatment plan to help you reach your goals. It is important to understand that most chronic pain doesn’t completely go away, but there are many treatments to help you to manage it and live a full life.

What Our Patients Say…

Went in to see Mr. Gaskin regarding some back pain that I’ve had for years. He heard me out and asked me to do some stretches and movements and figured out that it was my SI joint causing me issues. He gave me a shot that was pain free(because I’m a huge baby when it comes to needles) and I’ve been lower back pain free going on two months now. I would recommend him to anyone having daily pain. Very affordable and a great doctor. I will definitely be back if I have to be.
