About

David Gaskin

CRNA, NSPM-C

David has more than 27 years of experience providing professional anesthesia services across all patient populations. He earned a BS in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 1993 and an MS in Health Sciences from Texas Wesleyan in 1998. He also completed a year long Nonsurgical pain fellowship from TCU in 2018 and was board certified in 2019. He has used his extensive clinical experience to provide acute pain control education to other anesthesia providers across the country through Maverick Medical Education, a company he and a coworker formed more than 15 years ago. His time in both the clinical and educational arenas treating acute pain spurred him to undergo a rigorous year-long Nonsurgical Pain Management Fellowship through Texas Christian University in 2017-2018. He was among the first 50 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists in the United States to earn board certification through the NBCRNA in Nonsurgical Pain Management — a subspecialty credential now held by just 244 CRNAs nationwide. Reducing the pain in our communities, and its countless untoward effects, has become a passion for him. David has a simple philosophy he wants you to leave him feeling better than when you met him.
